Atlantic Community Health Center

Dr. Jeanne Roll - Internal Medicine/Geriatrics
Center Clinical Director

Dr. Roll completed her undergraduate studies in pre-medicine at Pennsylvania State University. She received her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark, New Jersey. She has worked with ESRHS for 13 years.

Mr. Robert Coniglio, part-time Physician Assistant,Certified

Mr. Coniglio is a graduate of Emory & Henry College and received his Physician Assistant Certificate from the Medical College of South Carolina. Mr. Coniglio has past experience in Rehabilitative Services. He has worked with ESRHS for 19 years.
Dr. David Hoshino - Family Practice

Dr. Hoshino completed his Pre-medical education at Princeton University, received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and completed his residency training at the University of Vermont/Medical Center Hospital of Vermont. He has worked for ESRHS for 21 years.
Ms. Patricia Holbert - Family Nurse Practitioner

Ms. Holbert received her Family Nurse Practitioner Certificate from the University of Virginia. She received a Masters in Nursing from Hampton University, a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Norfolk State University and an Associate's degree in Nursing from Tidewater Community College. She has worked with ESRHS for 1 year.
Dr. Cathy Riopel - Pediatrician

Dr. Riopel completed her undergraduate studies in biology at Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio. She is a 1987 graduate of the University of Virginia School of Medicine and completed her residency in Pediatrics in New Orleans, Louisiana, serving as Chief Resident at Charity Hospital, Louisiana State University. She has worked with ESRHS for 15 years.

Ms. Ann Schlaefer - Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

Ms. Schlaefer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She received her Masters in Nursing and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner degrees from the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington. She has worked with ESRHS for 3 years.

Dr. Anke Hacker - Internal Medicine/Family Practice

Dr. Hacker received her Doctor of Medicine from Technische Universitaet Mu
nich, Munich, Germany. She completed her combined residency in Internal Medicine and Family Practice at Eastern Virginia Medical School, Norfolk, Virginia. She has worked with ESRHS for 3 years.
Dr. Derek Melby - Internal Medicine/Family Practice

Dr. Melby graduated from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois after comp
leting undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois. Most recently, Dr. Melby completed a combined residency in Internal Medicine and Family Practice through the Eastern Virginia Medical School, Norfolk, Virginia. He joined ESRHS in July 2007.
Ms. Maureen Morgan - Physician Assistant, Certified

Ms. Morgan received her Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from Salisbury University and received her Master of Physician Assistant Degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School, Norfolk, Virginia. She has worked with ESRHS for 5 years.

Chincoteague Island Community Health Center

Dr. Ma. Carmelita C. Go - Family Practice
Center Clinical Director

Dr. Go received her Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology and Doctor of Medicine degrees from Divine Word University, Philippines. She is a Diplomate Certified in Internal Medicine from the Philippine College of Physicians, Philippines Specialty Board of Internal Medicine and completed residency training in Family Practice at Eastern Virginia Medical School, Ghent Family Practice. She has worked with ESRHS for 2 years.

Franktown Community Health Center

Dr. Hang Nguyen - Family Practice
Center Clinical Director


Dr. Nguyen completed her undergraduate studies at Albright College in Reading, Pennsylvania. She received her D.O. from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She began working with ESRHS in August 2007.

   
Sister Ellen Farrell - Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

Sister Ellen received a Master of Nursing degree from Boston College, Boston, Massachusetts and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Certification from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. She has worked with ESRHS for 19 years.

Dr. Kiesha Fraser - Pediatrician

Dr. Fraser is a National Health Service Corp Scholar. She received her Doctor of Medicine degree and completed her Pediatric Residency at Loma Linda University, Loma Linda, California. S
he has worked with ESRHS for 3 years.

Dr. David Riopel - Pediatrician

Dr. Riopel completed his undergraduate studies in Economics and Premedicine at Davidson College. A graduate of the University of Virginia School of Medicine, he completed his residency in Pediatrics at Louisiana State University in New Orleans, Louisiana. He has worked with ESRHS for 1
5 years.

Onley Community Health Center

Dr. Joan Lingen - Family Medicine
Center Clinical Director

Dr. Lingen completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology & Chemistry from Clarke College in Dubuque, Iowa. She received her Doctor of Medicine from the Chicago Medical School in Chicago, Illinois and completed an internship and residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at the Naval Hospital in San Diego, California. She has worked with ESRHS for 1 year.
Dr. Tom Hollandsworth - Family Practice

Dr. Hollandsworth completed his undergraduate studies at the College of William & Mary, Williamsburg, Virginia and received his Doctor of Medicine from Eastern Virginia Medical School, Norfolk, Virginia. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at Michigan State University - Kalamazoo Center for Medical Studies. He has worked with ESRHS for 8 years.
  Ms. Nancy Hargis - Family Nurse Practicioner

Ms. Hargis completed her Masters of Science in Nursing from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA. Her previous experience includes working in Emergency Departments and family practice offices. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and Emergency Nurses Association. Ms. Hargis joined ESRHS in December 2007.
Ms. Jennifer Kellam - Family Nurse Practitioner

Ms. Kellam completed her Family Nurse Practitioner Certificate from Salisbury State University. She also holds a MSN in Critical Care from Old Dominion University and a BSN from Old Dominion University. She has worked with ESRHS for 1 year.
Dr. Muraleedharan Sivarajan - Pediatrician

Dr. Sivarajan received his Bachelor of Medicine, Surgery & Pediatrics education from Trivandrum Medical College in Kerala, India. He received his diploma in Child Health from GSVM Medical College in Kanpur, India. He also passed the membership exams of the Royal College of Physicians after working in England for 10 years.
In the US he did his pediatric residency at the Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center, New York and is board certified in pediatrics. He has worked with ESRHS for 3 years.
Dr. Heather Stark - Family Practice

Dr. Stark began her medical career as a Nurse Practitioner in Family Medicine. She received her Doctor of Medicine at McMaster University in Toronto, Ontario and completed her internship at St. Joseph Hospital in Hamilton, Ontario. She has worked with ESRHS for 4 years.
Ms. Judith Wicklund - Adult Nurse Practitioner

Ms. Wicklund completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Home Health Nursing and Gerontology at Radford University in Radford, Virginia. She received her Primary Care - Adult Nurse Practitioner Certificate from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. She has worked with ESRHS for 4 years.

Dental

Dr. Noel Root
Dental Director

Dr. Root holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology-Sociology from Kent State University in Ohio. He received his degree in Laboratory Testing from J. Sergeant Reynolds Community College and is a Doctor of Dental Science from Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Root is also an Assistant Clinical Professor at VCU/MCV. He has worked with ESRHS for 3 years.
Dr. Jack Alexander

Dr. Alexander completed his undergraduate studies at Georgetown College. He received his Doctor of Medical Dentistry from the University of Louisville. Dr. Alexander is retired from the United States Navy Corps and works part time in the school dental program. He has worked with ESRHS for 2 years.
Dr. Stephanie Shelley

Dr. Shelley holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Old Dominion University. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia. She also completed a one year General Practice Residency at Fletcher Allen Hospital in Burlington, Vermont. She has worked with ESRHS for 1 year.
